Cockpitry was born out of passion — and out of the desire to not just build things, but to build them right.

Behind Cockpitry is Tool Loft UG, a company that originally specialized in developing modern SaaS solutions. Software, architecture, clean processes, and high quality standards have always been part of our daily business.

But as is so often the case, it all started with a hobby.

What started as a private side project quickly developed into a real obsession: building a Boeing 737 cockpit.

At first, it was pure curiosity. Then ambition. Finally, perfectionism.
We began designing our own components, optimizing constructions, and developing solutions that were virtually unheard of on the market — precise, modular, reproducible, and 3D-printable.

Our technical background helped us enormously:
We didn't think in terms of DIY solutions, but in terms of systems, versions, and scalable designs.

Over time, it became clear that the files, blueprints, and concepts we developed for our own cockpit weren't just “good enough” — they were too good to be hidden away in a drawer.

At the same time, we realized that many enthusiasts face the same challenges:

• Missing, inflexible, or poorly documented solutions
• Expensive specialty parts
• Little modular design
• Hardly any clean 3D printing templates

So we made a decision:
We deliberately spun off the project — and Cockpitry was born.

Cockpitry is our space for everything related to DIY simulation, cockpits, and controls. Here we bundle our developments and make them available to other enthusiasts:

• High-quality 3D printing files
• Well-thought-out building instructions
• Modular concepts for aircraft, vehicles, and rail vehicles
• Developed from practical experience—for practical use

Everything you find at Cockpitry was either built for our own project or designed exactly as we would use it ourselves.
