Who we are: The journey of Cockpitry.com
From Tablet FMC to a Full-Scale 1:1 Monster Project
It all started modestly in a Berlin basement: a gaming PC, two monitors for PFD and ND, a Saitek yoke, and a projector for the virtual view. The centerpiece? Our tablet as an FMC—and keys from an old keyboard repurposed to control the MCP. A wild setup built from passion and spare parts.
Then came the 3D printer. What was meant to be just a small addition turned into a lifelong project: a full-scale 1:1 737-800 cockpit. Every detail—from complex window frames to tiny switches—was designed and printed by hand. TikTok @deine737 documents every step live: from the first printed yoke cap to the completed overhead panel.
Why Cockpitry.com? The International Mission
Deine-737.de was German and local—perfect for getting started, but too small for the global aviation community. Cockpitry.com now stands for cockpit engineering for everyone:
• DIY instead of €43,000 turnkey solutions
• Files + complete instructions
• Community-driven development
• English + German for builders worldwide
The name Cockpitry combines Cockpit + Artistry + Engineering. That’s exactly what we build: masterfully crafted cockpits for enthusiasts around the world.
Our Philosophy: Aviation for Everyone
"Why pay €50,000 for a ready-made cockpit when you can build a better one for €4,500?" That’s Cockpitry. We’ve invested 2 years, countless print hours, and endless nights to pave the way for you.
Our Goal: Turn every hobby room into a hangar. Every aviation nerd should be able to build their dream cockpit—whether pro or beginner.
Why we see it through
"When we first taped our tablet-FMC to the yoke, no one knew it would turn into a full 1:1 cockpit. Now we share everything—because real pilots do it themselves."
Welcome aboard the Cockpitry revolution! ✈️🔥
From Berlin to the world—your hangar awaits.
